• October wrapping up with the temperature roller coaster

    By: Megan McClellan

Another week starting out with temperatures below average. A cold front pushes through Green Country throughout the morning, changing up winds and slightly dropping temperatures.

Winds will be gusting at times up to about 25 mph, but the temps don't drastically drop until Tuesday.

Morning lows will be back in the 30s, close to freezing in many places. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s and low 50s, nearly 10 degrees BELOW Monday's temperatures.

There is a change of rain, mostly in the evening into the overnight time frame. Trick-or-treating could have some sprinkles, but the highest chance of rain will mostly be after midnight into Wednesday.

Starting out with a few showers here and there, temperatures rebound well into the upper 60s with winds back out of the south. The warm winds and moisture returning to the are will help temperatures warm back up.

Much warmer to start the day and end the day than what we've been seeing the last few days. Morning temperatures starting out in the upper 50s and low 60s with strong southern winds sticking around.

Afternoon highs climb back up into the 80s, keeping the temperature roller coaster alive and well!

Things cool down slightly with another cold front pushing through, but it will not be a drastically strong front. Afternoon highs only drop into the low 70s before warming up again.

Staying dry with temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 70s across the area. Lots of sunshine to enjoy about with winds not being too strong. On Sunday, the winds do pick bakc up a tad, gusting up to about 25 mph out of the south.
