- Mostly sunny skies make for a great start to the week
- Heat and humidity crank back up by mid-week
- Rain chances return for the end of the week and part of the weekend
Coming into the first full week of August and Tulsa has yet to see a day with 100° on the thermometer!
It looks like this week is going to pass on that as well.
Temperatures through the week are going to stay in the 90s but thanks to some rain in the back-half of the work-week, the climb to 100-degrees isn't going to happen just yet.
Things stay nice and dry Monday through Wednesday and that will allow temperatures and heat index values to climb into the mid-90s and back above 105° respectively. Then the rain chances arrive.
With the rain, temperatures will drop back into the low-90s.
Currently, the rain (and thunderstorm chances) look like they will not be severe for Friday. The chance for rain will stick around into the weekend, but doesn't look like a washout at this time.
