For the afternoon, things will start to dry out but temperatures will still be dropping.

When you get home this afternoon, make sure you are taking the winter weather precautions around the house (disconnecting hoses, leave faucets dripping, etc).

Tuesday morning will be some of the coldest temperatures we've seen so far this season. Morning lows will be in the teens and some places have the chance to set new records for morning temperatures.

Even with the sunshine expected on Tuesday, temperatures are only going to climb into the 30s for the afternoon.

Thankfully, sunny skies will stick around along with winds returning out of the south. Those two things combined will help temperatures warm back up into the 50s going into the weekend.
