With these cooler temperatures through midweek, Eastern Oklahoma will be averaging about 10-degrees below what is considered normal for this part of August.

By midweek, things start to change up.

Not only do temperatures start to climb back up, but showers and storms chances return to the area as well.

At this point, it does not look like there will be any severe weather, but you’ll want to make sure you have your umbrella and rain boots handy.

Once the rain clears out, the heat and humidity really crank back up causing temperatures to climb back into the 90s. If you enjoy the summertime heat, you are going to LOVE the upcoming weekend with all the sun and the heat!
