• Robber points gun at mother's head in front of kids

    TULSA, Okla. - Quick Facts:

    • Police responded to an armed robbery call at 12:30 at the Willowbend Apartments
    • A man walked up behind a woman with two children, demanding her purse
    • He drove off in a light-colored sedan

    Tulsa police want to find the man who allegedly held a gun to a woman’s head in front of her children.

    Officers said around 12:30 a.m. a woman was walking in the parking lot of the Willowbend Apartments near 31st and Mingo. Officers said she had two small children with her.

    The robber came up behind her and pointed a pistol at her head, demanding her purse.

    She gave it to him and he took off. She described the man as in his early 20s with short hair or corn rows, a gray hoodie pulled tight around his face, dark pants and dark shoes. He was driving a light-colored 4-door sedan, possibly a Honda.
