TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa's 79th homicide is under investigation after a deadly shooting in east Tulsa.

A man in his mid thirties was shot multiple times in a parking lot outside Gerleesa's Lounge near 16th and Memorial, according to Tulsa police.

They believe he was leaving the club around 4 a.m. Sunday when he was shot. Investigators on the scene said that the man was lying by a running Tahoe in the parking lot when they arrived.

The victim, later identified as Marquilllon Glover, died on his way to the hospital.

Officers said between 80 and 90 people were leaving a private party at the club when the shots rang out, and the attendees quickly rushed back inside.

Investigators said that no one will tell them anything, so they do not currently know a motive or have a suspect. The incident is believed to be gang related, according to police.

Detectives said the woman who put on the party claimed the shooting had nothing to do with the party, and she said there weren't any problems inside.

She told police there is no surveillance video in the bar, but officers are reviewing footage from other nearby businesses.

Investigators do not know how many witnesses there were, and they have not interviewed anyone who claims to have witness it.
