• Several people arrested after multiple overnight chases through Tulsa

    TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa police were involved in multiple police chases overnight November 8 that resulted in several arrests.

    • Police are searching for the driver who jumped out of a truck during a chase in south Tulsa.
      • Police said they saw a Chevy truck they thought was suspicious near 81st and Delaware.
      • Officers tried to pull the truck over but the driver did not stop.
      • Police said the driver jumped out of the moving truck near 76th and Trenton and ran away.
      • Police found items inside the truck they say they think were taken in burglaries near 83rd and Delaware.
    • Police chased a Ford Mustang late Thursday night before stopping it in south Tulsa.
      • Police told FOX23 they tried to pull the car over near Harvard and I-44 just before midnight Thursday.
      • Officers followed the car before it sped off and a chase ensued. Police said someone threw a container of beer out the window.
      • Police say they threw out stop sticks and flattened the tires on the car.
      • The car made it to an apartment complex on 61st and Memorial where the driver ran off until police caught him.
      • The driver and three other people in the car were taken into custody.
    • Police arrested an 18-year-old after they say he led them on a chase in a stolen car in east Tulsa.
      • Jesse Gazaway is facing charges for eluding, possession of a stolen car, and driving without headlights.
      • Police say they spotted Gazaway driving without headlights near Skelly and Garnett around 1 a.m. Friday.
      • Officers tried to pull him over but they say instead he led them on a chase.
      • Police say Gazaway crashed near 121st and Skelly where he got out and ran away.
      • A K9 officer tracked him down and Gazaway was treated at the hospital for a dog bite.
