TULSA, Okla. — The Philbrook Museum in midtown Tulsa is making it known Monday that the implementation of the upcoming permitless carry law will not bring a change to their policy on firearms.
The Philbrook tweeted out a statement from Director Scott Stulen on Monday saying the museum and its additional properties will remain gun-free.
The permitless carry, or "constitutional carry" bill becomes law on November 1 despite the effort of petitioners and opposing legislators.
It will allow people to carry firearms without a background check or training.
