Pawhuska’s Pioneer Woman hosts a new series

“Big Bad Budget Battle” premiers Aug. 9

Ree Drummond, better known as the Pioneer Woman, will host a new series in addition to her signature Food Network cooking show filmed at her Pawhuska ranch.

“Big Bad Budget Battle” features three home cooks who will need to transform every day, affordable ingredients into meals. Some of the challenges mentioned are one-pot meals, recreating leftovers and creating a day’s worth of meals with only $30 worth of groceries.

“I can’t wait for viewers to see these awesome home cooks in action, both with their creativity in the kitchen and their budget-shopping skills – they are truly something to behold! As a home cook myself, I’m impressed by their resourcefulness and ingenuity as they plan, shop, and prepare their incredible dishes,” said Drummond.

The winner will take home a trophy and a year’s worth of groceries.

Drummond will still continue her hit show “The Pioneer Woman” which premiers Aug. 6.

“Big Bad Budget Battle” premiers on Aug. 9 on Food Network and streaming on Discovery+.
