• Owasso police hold fundraiser for teen hurt in car accident

    OWASSO, Okla. - Quick Facts: 

    • Collinsville teen Ben DeBoer, was hit by a driver in an Owasso parking lot.
    • He was moved to Little Rock for treatment for his injuries.
    • DeBoer lost one of his lungs in the accident. He also suffered injuries to his other lung and heart.
    • The Owasso Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 149 planned a fundraising event for DeBoer.
    • From 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Owasso Rib Crib on Saturday, proceeds from breakfast sales went to the family.
