Owasso City Council unanimously pass resolution on wearing masks

OWASSO, Okla. — In a unanimous decision on Tuesday night, Owasso City Council members voted 5-0 to pass a resolution on wearing masks.

In a press release made from the city, they said the resolution strongly encourages the use of masks and other protective measures.

The resolution was created in an effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19 as recent cases have increased in the area.

The release said the City of Owasso and Owasso Police Department, pledge their support to businesses and places who require masks.
