Tulsa police say an online dating meet up led to the rape of a woman early Monday morning.

They aren’t releasing many details, but officers say the woman met a stranger on an online dating site and agreed to meet up with him.

Police say the two met at the Shell station near Pine and Garnett, where the suspect kidnapped the woman, took her to an undisclosed location and raped her.

Detectives say the rape was unusually violent, but didn’t go into details.
