Stitt announced on Monday his selection of retired Air Force Brig. Gen. Ben Robinson to the cabinet post that requires Senate confirmation.
Robinson was selected after Stitt's previous pick for the job, Brian Brurud, withdrew from consideration. Brurud's withdrawal came after Oklahoma Watch reported Brurud's consulting company was being sued for allegedly underpaying veterans who worked for him.
Robinson retired from the Air Force in 2002 and is now owner and president of the aerospace industry consulting firm Sentry One LLC.
