• Oklahoma man arrested in shooting death of wife

    POTEAU, Okla. (AP) - Police officials say an Oklahoma man has been arrested in the shooting death of his wife.

    The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the LeFlore County Sheriff's Office are investigating the shooting death of 45-year-old Lisa Casey. According to a news release from the sheriff's office, the shooting occurred Saturday evening near Spiro.

    Authorities say Casey was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

    Police say the victim's husband, 39-year-old Lawrence Casey, is suspected in the shooting death. He's also accused of threatening another man in the residence with a handgun.

    Lawrence Casey has been arrested on charges of first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
