OHP arrest man suspected of Wichita carjacking and kidnapping

TONKAWA, Okla. — Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) released dashcam footage on Tuesday night of a traffic stop involving a vehicle that was stolen in Wichita, Kansas.

OHP said when the vehicle was stolen, a 6-year-old girl was in the car. Troopers said she appeared unharmed.

According to OHP, Trooper Tyler Langston made the traffic stop, later assisted by Trooper Robert Regnier at a Pilot Station off U.S. 60 and west of I-35 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma.

Troopers were then able to take the suspect into custody.

In the footage, the suspect is seen sitting in the vehicle after troopers pulled him over.
