TULSA, Okla. - Green Country headed to the polls Tuesday.
They voted on a number of issues ranging from vacant state Senate seats to local funding propositions.
In the race for State Senate District 37, Democrat Allison Ikley-Freeman was able to defeat Republican Brian O'Hara for Republican Senator Dan Newberry's seat after Newberry announced he would be stepping down earlier in 2017.
Republican Ross Ford defeated Democrat Chris VanLandingham to fill the State Representative seat left vacant after Republican David Brumbaugh died.
Tulsa voters approved all propositions, including a charter change that would allow city employees to campaign in elections.
