TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa tornado shelter business is expanding the use of its shelters to include protecting product at marijuana dispensaries.
The idea behind the project is simple. The safe rooms, which will be bulletproof and made with ballistic steel, can be installed in dispensaries to hold product and people in case of an armed robbery or break-in.
Sales manager Joshua King said the Green Safe shelters are an added method of security and safety for dispensary owners.
These shelters are rated for an EF-5 tornado, but have the added security of ballistic steel and are expandable.
