Target announced its plans Tuesday to operate during the coronavirus pandemic.
The retail giant will change store hours nationwide to close at 9 p.m. This will allow staff ample time to restock and deep clean the stores.
Company officials also plan to bring in more staffing for in-demand services like Target Drive Up and Order Pickup.
Additionally, the first hour of shopping every Wednesday will be reserved for those most vulnerable to the coronavirus: the elderly and those with underlying health conditions.
Finally, Target said it would prioritize essential products including food and medicine.
These changes begin Wednesday and will remain in effect indefinitely.
