• Muskogee receives grant for downtown green space project

    MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Quick Facts:

    • The City of Muskogee Foundation awarded the city an $800,000 grant for a Depot Green project.
    • Depot Green is a planned green space in downtown Muskogee that will be similar to Tulsa's Guthrie Green.
    • The project will include an open lawn, seating with shade, parking and an extension of the Centennial Trail to Main Street.
    • Work is set to begin next spring and should be complete by the end of 2019.
