• Muskogee church destroyed in 2017 storm is set to reopen

    MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Quick Facts:

    • The Oasis Community Church in Muskogee is set to reopen soon after storms in March 2017 destroyed about 85 percent of the church.
    • The roof was lifted from the building and caused three inches of rain to flood the building. Officials determined the church was unsafe so it was torn down and a new building is nearly complete.
    • A building dedication and reopening service is scheduled for March 25.
