Motorcycle rider shot in the back and crashed near 116th and Sheridan, police say

TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE (8:04 p.m.) — Tulsa and Bixby Police officers responded to the shooting.

The suspected shooter was in a Ford F-150 Truck, driving southbound on Sheridan Road, according to responding officers. The suspect shot from the truck at the motorcycle driver. He lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

Police on the scene said this incident is odd for the South Tulsa-residential area.

Witnesses told FOX23 that they felt the shooting seemed like a road rage incident.

Officers are still searching for the shooter.
