• Mother Road Market to host Monarch Day

    TULSA, Okla. - Mother Road Market on Route 66 in Tulsa is hosting Monarch Day on Saturday.

    Okies for Monarchs is holding the event at on market's patio from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature fun and educational family activities.

    Monarch Day is used to provide education on how to help monarchs and pollinators in Oklahoma, and provide gardening tips for those who attend.

    Below is the schedule of activities during the event:

    11-11:30 a.m. Monarch & Pollinator Storytime

    11:30-11:45 a.m. 
    Guided Monarch Migration Circle. Go on a guided monarch migration after story time and learn why Oklahoma is so important to monarchs!

    2-3 p.m. AND 3-4 p.m.
    Okie Actions: Planting a Path for Monarchs & Pollinators Workshop (in the Demonstration Kitchen).
