• US Marshals arrest man accused of trying to run over Mannford police officer

    MANNFORD, Okla. - QUICK FACTS:

    • US Marshals arrested a man accused of trying to run over a Mannford police officer. 
    • The officer fired shots after a man tried to run him over during a chase Tuesday night.
    • Mannford Police Chief Lucky Miller told FOX23 an officer saw Joshua Caudill at a convenience store and tried to arrest him on warrants.
    • A chase followed on Highway 48 into Creek County.
    • Miller said Caudill drove into a field and got caught on a rock.
    • The officer got out of his car to approach Caudill's car before it broke free and swerved toward the officer.
    • The officer fired seven rounds into Caudill's vehicle from under it before it took off.
    • The officer did not have any serious injuries.
    • Officers found his truck and took it to the police station.
