TULSA, Okla. — A man who initially avoided prison time for running over and killing an 11-year-old boy will now see time behind bars for the crime.
Abraham McDavid was given a 10-year suspended sentence after he pleaded guilty to manslaughter and to driving with a suspended license when he ran over an 11-year-old, Adrian Hardridge Jr., on a skateboard.

However, a court determined last week that McDavid violated the terms of his supervised release by having possession of a gun after being convicted of a felony.
A judge ordered him to spend two years in prison as he completes his sentence for the 2011 car accident.
