VIDEO: Man reportedly causes more than $20,000 in damage at Tulsa church

TULSA, Okla. — Police said a man caused more than $20,000 in damage inside an east Tulsa church.

At the scene, officers said someone called about a man breaking into cars in the area near 31st and Garnett, but when they arrived, an officer saw the man break into an area church.

Inside, the suspect reportedly broke a piano and an organ, busted out windows and completely trashed the church.

Police said the damage will cost between $20,000 and $40,000.

Officers said a K9 officer helped apprehend the suspect.

They said the suspect appeared to be blacked out on drugs.

Police officials later identified him as James Williams, 32.
