A 25-year-old man drowned Sunday at the Blue Hole Park near Salina in Mayes County.
The Grand River Dam Authority reports that Moises Lopez was wading in the water with an inflatable for support when he stepped into an area approximately 25 feet deep.
Lopez lost his support and went under the water. He was pulled out by witnesses nearby and CPR was performed until he could be taken to the hospital.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
