Police arrest man accused of robbing people outside Tulsa gentlemen's club

TULSA, Okla. — A man is in custody after an attempted robbery at a gentleman's club in midtown Tulsa Thursday morning.

A Tulsa police officer heard a gunshot near 31st and Yale near the Lipstick Cabaret around 3 a.m. and met with two people who said they were confronted by a man in a mask with a pistol in the parking lot.

Officers say the man -- Ramont Hollins -- tried to rob them but one victim wouldn't cooperate so the Hollins fired a shot.

Nobody was hit and police say Hollins ran from the scene.

Police arrived and set up a perimeter in the area to find Hollins. Using K9 officers, police tracked him down and arrested him.

Hollins is being held on a $244,000 bond will be facing charges for pointing a firearm with intent, possession of a firearm by a felon, robbery with a firearm, and shooting with intent to kill.
