MUSKOGEE, Okla. - A man faces charges after police say he threatened to kill officers and tried to break a police K9’s jaw and neck.

Court documents say a neighbor at the Catalina Motel called police with a noise complaint

When police arrived, the suspect reportedly told police he had two guns and was going to kill an officer if he came to the door.

Police say the suspect came to the window and mimicked raising a gun to officers.

Officers say they told him to come outside, but he refused. They then tried talking to him over the phone and telling him to exit the room, but they say he didn’t comply.

Police used a K9 unit to try to get him into custody. Court papers say the suspect hit the dog, grabbed onto its face and pulled on it. He reportedly knew it was a police K9 and continued to touch it after repeated commands to stop.

The suspect, who was identified as Bryan White, reportedly later said in the emergency room that he was going to break the dog’s jaw and could’ve broken his neck.

The owner of the motel let FOX23 into the room where it happened. There, we found a hole in the wall where the owner says White used an ax to hit the wall.
