TULSA, Okla. — Tulsans will get to choose who they want to be the city’s next mayor -- or to keep the one they have -- on Aug. 25.
Mayor G.T. Bynum is running for reelection in what has been a fairly quiet campaign season for local candidates due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Bynum is running against seven other candidates whose names will appear on the official ballot:
Ricco Wright announced he was dropping out of the race earlier in the summer amid sexual assault allegations, but his name was never officially withdrawn from the ballot.
A runoff election, if necessary, would be voted on in the general election on Nov. 3.
