TULSA, Okla. — The United Way launched a virtual auction Monday morning as a part of National Volunteer Week.
The auction, “Time for a Cause,” opened at 10 a.m. for participants to bid volunteer hours on several different prizes and experiences.
Auction items include year-long mentoring with community leaders, golf packages, gift baskets and other experiences.
Participants will spend time over a year volunteering their allotted number of hours at different community organizations like A New Leaf, Tulsa Cares, Big Brothers, Big Sisters and Reading Partners.
Bidding will go on until Friday, and the United Way will announce the winner in a video.
