Victory Church under scrutiny after allowing indoor concert as COVID-19 cases spike

TULSA, Okla. — Concerns are growing about the spread of COVID-19 after an indoor concert was held at a south Tulsa church.

FOX23 viewers sent photos and video of hundreds of concert goers who were not socially distance and not wearing masks at Victory Church.

Bethel Music performed at the church this week. The group’s Instagram page said Victory Church got approval from city government and that safety precautions were in place.

Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum said they did have a safety plan in place, but the pictures of the crowd tightly packed speak for themselves.

Victory has not responded for requests for comment
