Not long after that, grass and brush also caught fire in multiple different locations, and firefighters say this is all still under investigation. At this time, no one has bee arrested.

Firefighters say they had to let one of the fires smolder throughout the night because of the structure of the building and because of the way the roof collapsed.

Crews believe one of the homes was abandoned, but someone lived in the second.

The initial call was made around 1 a.m. Monday morning. Crews let part of the fire smolder because of the building’s structure.
