Tulsa senator injured in deadly crash on Turner Turnpike

TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa senator is in the hospital Friday morning after a car crash on the Turner Turnpike that killed a man.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol told FOX23 one driver headed westbound hydroplaned on the turnpike near mile marker 183 and crashed into a ditch.

Troopers say Senator Allison Ikley-Freeman hydroplaned behind that driver and crashed into the other driver’s car in the ditch.
