TULSA, Ok — A $415 million bond package for Tulsa Public School’s is approved by voters Tuesday night.
All four propositions passed with over 80% approval.
According to the district, over the next five to six years the bond money will go towards improvement of school facilities, update security and address much needed technology improvements.
The four propositions in the TPS bond package break down as follows:
Prop 1 - $239,740,000 construction, repair, remodel, equipment school sites and acquiring land
Prop 2 - $19,800,000 library books and materials for new schools
Prop 3 - $17,025,000 transportation equipment
Prop 4 - $138,435,000 textbooks, learning equipment, repair/remodel buildings for technology, computer hardware and software
