Gun ‘accidentally’ fired in Woodland Hills Mall food court, Tulsa police say

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police are investigating after a gun fired at Woodland Hills Mall on Friday afternoon.

Witnesses told police that a man sitting in the food court had a gun in his pocket when it fired. Police say he got up and left, and he didn’t threaten anybody.

The mall reopened less than an hour later.

Officers say they haven’t found that man so they don’t know if he’s hurt.

Firearms are prohibited at Woodland Hills Mall.

Police and Oklahoma Highway Patrol were also set up around Woodland Hills Apartments near 71st and Mingo.
