TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police are saying a post with a story about an attempted abduction being shared around social media in the Tulsa area is “false."
The post shares the story of a mother as told by someone who had heard it in their office.
The person who shared it says the mother took her 13-year-old daughter to Woodland Hills Mall in south Tulsa where the girl was then allegedly attacked and drugged in a bathroom.
Tulsa police say as of 1 p.m. on Jan. 22 they had gotten no calls about the attack and there is no video surveillance that shows it happening. Nobody was taken to the hospital.
The department is asking anyone that can verify any factual information to call 918-596-9222.
