Tulsa police dispel ‘false’ viral post about Woodland Hills attempted abduction

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police are saying a post with a story about an attempted abduction being shared around social media in the Tulsa area is “false."

The post shares the story of a mother as told by someone who had heard it in their office.

The person who shared it says the mother took her 13-year-old daughter to Woodland Hills Mall in south Tulsa where the girl was then allegedly attacked and drugged in a bathroom.

Tulsa police say as of 1 p.m. on Jan. 22 they had gotten no calls about the attack and there is no video surveillance that shows it happening. Nobody was taken to the hospital.
