Tulsa group looking for ‘Hope Notes’ to give to people with developmental disabilities

Tulsa group asking people for hope notes for those with disabilities

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Advocates for the Rights of Citizens with Development Disabilities (TARC) is asking Oklahomans to show support for people living with intellectual and developmental disabilities with “Hope Notes.”

Hope Notes are inspiring letters or creative drawings to lift this community’s spirit during the pandemic.

TARC says about 1,500 people live in care facilities or group homes and they’re hoping to collect a Hope Note for each one of them.
