Tulsa firefighters build ramp for woman in wheelchair

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa firefighters helped build a ramp outside a local woman’s home Monday.

The Tulsa Fire Department shared a post from Local 176 showing firefighters at work building a ramp for the woman who uses a wheelchair but only had steps to get in through her front door.

The crew from Engine 18 and Stika Handyman LLC worked with donated supplies from Home Depot and Mohawk Materials.

“We hope that the new ramp will help make a difference for her in the days ahead,” the post said.
