Tulsa family’s dishware used as prop in Killers of the Flower Moon

TULSA, Okla. — Mary Beth Babcock, owner of Bucks Atom’s Cosmic Curios, says her family had an estate sale at the beginning of her year after her dad passed away from COVID-19 complications.

She says Killers of the Flower Moon crews went to the estate sale and bought items to be used for the movie including dishware, clocks and an old teddy bear from the 1920s.

After Leonardo DiCaprio posted his “first look” photo of the Killers of the Flower Moon production on Instagram, Babcock says she noticed the teapot to the left of DiCaprio is the same teapot that belonged to her late father.

She says it does not seem real to see it in a movie.
