TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double shooting near E. 59th place and N. Madison Ave.
Deputies say a mother and her 15-year-old daughter were shot while riding an ATV around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
The two got into a confrontation with a group of people on another ATV at the Osage Prairie Trails.
When the mom confronted the group thinking they were on her stolen ATV, they fired shots.
The mother was shot in the back, and the daughter was shot in the thigh, deputies say.
They were both released from the hospital on Wednesday.
Deputies believe the group rode off on a light blue ATV.
Deputies arrested 17-year-old Sirmichael Morgan on four counts of shooting with intent to kill and are expected to make more arrests.
