Tulsa County offering ‘School of Rec’ learning option for students doing virtual learning

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa County is offering “School of Rec” at four parks around the county to help students who are learning outside of the classroom.

For $50 per week, these park community centers welcome students to do their virtual learning as a safe option for parents who have to work during the day.

Each community center can accommodate 20 students as they follow CDC guidelines during the coronavirus pandemic.

The program is open to students 6-13 years old and is in session Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
