Tulsa convenience store clerk shot, killed

TULSA, Okla. — We now the name of a clerk killed in a robbery Tuesday around 11 p.m.

The clerk is identified as Muhammad Imran.

Tulsa police are investigating the deadly robbery and shooting that happened at the Zen Zel Plaza in north Tulsa at MLK Jr. Blvd and Pine.

Police say a two convenience store clerks were cleaning up for the night when one of them he was shot and killed outside the store.

Investigators say the suspected shooter took the other clerk inside, stole the cash, then left.

Detectives have only said so far that the person they’re looking for is a man.

Police do say there are multiple surveillance cameras all around the store, so they’re reviewing that hoping to get a better idea of what happened.
