Tulsa church donates thousands to 1921 Race Massacre survivors

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa’s Juneteenth celebration wrapped up with a big donation to the survivors of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.

Sunday, Transformation Church led their first in-person service in more than year from the Juneteenth main stage in north Tulsa.

The megachurch near East 101st and Memorial divvied up $1 million to Tulsa Race Massacre survivors and local non-profits.

Each survivor was given a $200,000 check.

Transformation Church continues to provide online services as their building is renovated.
