Tulsa Area United Way kicks off first of Day of Caring events with T-shirt campaign

United Way hosting 3 days of caring

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Area United Way kicked off its annual Day of Caring by revealing a T-shirt to promote the event.

This year the event -- which is typically one day -- will be held over three days to meet the communities growing needs during the COVID-19 crisis.

The tee is being created by Mythic Press, it will raise money for United Ways partner agencies and awareness for the events.

The first Day of Caring will be August 28 which will focus on food assistance, blood donations and civic engagement.

The second will be on September 18 which will focus on career and job readiness.

The final day will be on October 9 and it will focus on Urgent Agency Projects.
