• Police name victim in north Tulsa homicide


    TULSA, Okla. - Quick Facts:

    • Campus police found a body at an apartment complex near Booker T Washington High School 
    • The body was near the Town Square Apartments
    • TPD is investigating
    • A small gunshot wound was allegedly found on the man's chest

    Tulsa Police are investigating a body found near a local high school.

    Around 9 a.m., students at Booker T. Washington High School reported the body, lying outside a nearby apartment complex, to campus resource officers. 

    Investigators found the body of a man between 25 and 30 years old. They later classified the death as homicide.

    Just after 11:30, police said they found a small gunshot wound on his chest.

    They later identified the victim as Anthony Reed Jr.

    They said video footage showed three to four people involved in an altercation leading to the victim's death.
