Three teenagers arrested, connected to two armed robberies in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE, 4/5/2022, 3:10 p.m.: Three teenagers have been arrested in connection to Tuesday morning’s armed robberies.

Officers were called to the Plaza East Apartments earlier this morning after a caller believed he saw the stolen Mercedes. Officers located the car and arrested the teenagers.

Officers are still interviewing the suspects. At least two of them will be charged with armed robbery.

Tulsa police are searching for two men after officers responded to two armed robberies, just one hour apart.

The first happened around midnight near S. 129th Street and E. 21st Street. The victim said he was returning home with his wife when he was approached by two young men. The pair pulled out guns and drove off in the victim’s 2007 Ford Edge.

Another armed robbery was reported around 1 a.m. near S. 129th Street and E. 31st Street. The victim at this robbery described the same suspects. The victim says he was walking into a home when one of the suspects approached him and pulled out a gun.

The pair then took off with the victim’s 2010 black Mercedes four door sedan.

The 2007 Ford Edge was later recovered, but the Mercedes is still missing. The tag on the Mercedes is KHP-298.
