Students across Green Country plan walkouts in support of Julius Jones

Students at multiple schools across Green Country are planning walkouts in support of Julius Jones.

Jones is scheduled to be executed at 4 p.m. this afternoon in McAlester.

Today’s walkouts follow Wednesday’s walkout at Oklahoma City’s John Marshall High School.

Here are the walkouts scheduled for today:

  • Booker T. Washington, 1 p.m.
  • Tulsa School of Arts & Sciences, 12:15 p.m.
  • Carver Middle School, 12:20 p.m.
  • Edison High School, 1 p.m.
  • Owasso High School, 1 p.m.
  • McLain High School, 1 p.m.
  • KIPP Tulsa College Preparatory, 1:30 p.m.
