Soccer club honors family involved in fatal crash

TULSA, Okla. — A soccer club is honoring a family involved in a horrific crash.

The WSA soccer alliance’s cup tournament is this weekend and it’s some of their final games of the season.

In honor of Karson Impson, each player wore purple headbands or armbands. Karson and her family were involved in a crash earlier this week.

Karson’s mom and dad died after a wrong-way driver slammed into their car, while they were driving on I-40, headed to a soccer game.

A fundraising dinner for the Impson family will be 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Red Lobster, 225 W. Shawnee Bypass.
