• Sobriety checkpoint takes drunk drivers off Tulsa streets

    TULSA, Okla. - Quick facts:
    • Police conducted a sobriety checkpoint near Admiral and Sheridan Saturday night.
    • The checkpoint was held as a part of the statewide ENDUI campaign and was paid as part of a grant form the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office.
    • Members of the Tulsa Police Department, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Oklahoma ABLE Commission participated in checking 201 vehicles.
    • The checks resulted in 10 DUI arrests, 24 misdemeanor warrants and 94 citations.
