TULSA, Okla. — A snow plow hit some ice and crashed into a light pole near 71st Street and Hwy 169 early Wednesday.
Tulsa firefighters were called after the truck caught on fire. The driver wasn’t hurt.
The frigid temperatures can cause black ice conditions to quickly form on wet roadways overnight.
Drivers who must be out should use caution, especially on elevated structures, and be alert to changing weather conditions.
